I built this model after my trip to the USA in 1996. It was the first model I used an airbrush on. Revel, 1:24
I had never built American car models before, so here you see the influence the trip to the US had on me.
The model has built in light bulbs and LEDs for the blinkers, which I never connected. Cables are on the bottom.
Unfortunately the choosen paints were suboptimal. I used airbrush colours for the artwork and covered them with a transparent lacquer, but as it can be seen in the picture this did not work out so well in the long term. The model was stored for years wrapped in toilet paper and some of that stuck to the roof.
