When possible I buy German. No, there is no German politician telling me to “Mach Deutschland wieder gross”. I just believe in German quality products and in supporting our industries. And deep in my heart i am still a BOSCHler after having spent 3 years with BOSCH as apprentice.
But yesterday, buying myself a birthday present, I sinned and bought Danish. We had a German Kärcher pressure cleaner. Kärcher, market leader and the Mercedes Benz of the high pressure cleaners, but it was made in China and had a plastic pump that broke recently. Unrepairable.
The Nilfisk is the only brand that has metal (aluminum) pumps in the home unit price range. And they produce in Denmark. Not in China, at least that’s what the package says. And as Otto said “Dänen lügen nicht”
Tested it on the boat tanks already. Looks good.
